Description Sacramento Northern's first electric train arriving in DIxon, California in 1913. The garage in the background is that of the Dixon Auto Service Company. The depot signs read: "Sacramento Valley Electric" and " Waiting Room". This depot was located on West A Street near Jackson St. where the current post office is.The electric train system ran from Chico to Oakland where the cars were then ferried to San Francisco by Key Route ferries. The Dixon Electric Railway line was closed after several years.
