The Governing Board of Trustees is comprised of the elected members of the Dixon Unified School District. These school board members are responsible for the budget allocation and overall function of the library, as well as having to approve of any real property acquisition. This Board appoints members of a separate Library Commission to oversee the day-to-day operation and policy matters of the library.
Starting in February 2004, minutes will be available in the Adobe Acrobat format. The free Acrobat Reader software is available from the Adobe Web Site.
The tentative schedule for future meetings is posted below as meetings are scheduled, and the past minutes may be viewed by selecting them from the table (attachments to an agenda or minutes may not be available here - visit the library for access to them):
