 Donations of used books, CDs, DVDs and videos and recent popular magazines are always welcome.


What Do We Especially Hope For?

 We're very interested in
  • popular fiction
  • current non-fiction and biographies
  • recent popular magazines.


    • Sorry, But We Can't Take Certain Items.

     We can't use and can't accept
  • textbooks
  • old reference books
  • marked-up, worn-out, tattered or dirty/moldy items
  • math/science/technical items more than 2 years old
  • old magazines
  • freebie magazines
  • anything missing pages, discs, tapes, etc.


    • If We Can't Use It For The Library's Shelves?

     Then it is given to the Friends of the Dixon Public Library for their fund-raising book sale (as per the Library's Donations and Gifts Policy – # 4255).


    Will You Get A Donation Receipt?

     Yes, we'll gladly give you a donation receipt for any items which we will accept (see above).
