Library Commission members are appointed to a three-year term and operate under a set of bylaws.
The Commission meets, normally, on the third Monday of the month at 6:00 P.M in the Dixon School District Board Room, 180 S. First St. The Commission operates under a set of Bylaws adopted at their January 24, 2000 meeting. Starting in February 2003, items will be generally available in the Adobe Acrobat format. The free Acrobat Reader software is available from the Adobe Web Site.
The tentative schedule for future meetings is posted below as meetings are scheduled, and the past minutes may be viewed by selecting them from the table (attachments to an agenda or minutes may not be available here - visit the library for access to them):
