The Dixon Public Library District has launched a five year effort to plan and build a magnificent new 32,000 square foot library. It would replace the current 8,000 square foot building, remaining downtown adjacent to the Women's Improvement Club Park. The goal is to open the new library in May 2013, which marks the 100th anniversary of the start of library service in Dixon!
